Beyoncé gave her fans a treat this week when she offered them a rare glimpse at her stunning natural hair, while documenting her hair routine in a candid video.
The 42-year-old artist took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes clip of herself going through her haircare routine in order to tout products from her Cécred line - gushing that her hair has never been 'healthier' or 'stronger' since she began using them.
But while the singer's focus remained entirely on her haircare line, Beyoncé's fans couldn't look away from her natural locks.
The video was all the more poignant given that the singer came under fierce fire back in February when her haircare line launched, with some arguing that she had no business launching a haircare range because she is 'best known for wearing wigs'.
But Beyoncé proved that criticism largely unwarranted when she unveiled her new clip, which also detailed how she achieves her incredible red carpet-worthy 'dos - without the help of wigs or extensions.
In a new video posted to Instagram this week, Beyoncé let fans in on her natural hair and wash day routine
This past February, the star launched her own hair care line Cécred, which some criticized her for
'Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me,' the singer wrote in the caption of her Instagram video
'Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for you hair, I think it's about time I show y'all what it does for my hair,' the 'Texas Hold 'Em' hitmaker said in the clip, as she showed her natural curls being washed in a salon sink.
To start off the wash, they used some shampoo from her line, which she says she loves for its lather and soothing smell.
Next, because the star's color was 'fresh,' they used the Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual for some conditioning.
'There's nothing in the world like this conditioner, I love it, there's nothing like it!' she gushed.
Afterwards, the star sat down in the styling chair and had her stylist use a 'tiny bit' of the Cécred Moisture Sealing Lotion before going in with a blow dryer and flatiron.
'The stigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don't have long and healthy hair,' the mom-of-three said, as they showed off some shots of her hair being brushed out.
'That's some bulls***, 'cause it ain't nobody business,' she added playfully.
The Ivy Park owner also let viewers in on a secret - which is that she likes to blow dry her hair on medium heat, as well as an 'old school' fine-tooth comb.

She said the products have helped to maintain her gorgeous blond highlights over the past 15 years.
She appeared to use a Dyson Airwrap and Dyson Supersonic to blow dry the hair, with the help of her stylist.
The Grammy-award winner explained to viewers that over the years, she's chosen to color her hair over perms or various relaxers, and credits her own products for growing her hair long and strong.
'It's never been so moisturized, and I've managed to keep my texture and my curls, even with my hair so blonde and my hair is flourishing,' Beyoncé said, showing some stunning shots of her natural hair post-blowout.
The clip also gave viewers a look at some close-ups of her hair as it was being straightened.
The star also added that wash day is one of her favorite times, because she gets to have some self-care and down time.
For the final step in her look, her stylists put some rollers in her hair to create a bouncy, full look.
And, at the end of the clip, she even shouted out her fans, and said that she was grateful for their support of the products.
'We're building the community that I've always dreamt about,' she said.

She also used a flatiron to perfect the look, as well as some rollers, which were used on her straight hair
'I'm proud of the ingredients, I'm proud of the way it's making people feel, I'm proud that it's not one-dimensional, and that it's for multiple textures,' Beyoncé said
Beyoncé also thanked her fans in the video, and said that she was 'grateful' for all the support of her hair care line
'I'm proud of the ingredients, I'm proud of the way it's making people feel, I'm proud that it's not one-dimensional, and that it's for multiple textures,' she continued.
She concluded the video by showing off the stunning final look, which was pulled together with a small ponytail at the top of her head, a bling-y pendant necklace, overlined lips and cat-eye sunglasses.
In the comments section, fans went wild after getting an inside look at her natural curls.
'This was the best set of receipts that I’ve ever received. Period,' one person wrote.
Another agreed, 'Bey with tha good hair!!!!'
'Serving long healthy hair and a fresh face. I think I love this era most,' someone else typed.
One user chimed in, 'Beyoncé cleared the Room. I’m over here hollerin'.'
'You ate them up with this one girl,' a user seconded.

The vocalist launched the hair care line this past February, after working on it for a year.
'Cécred is a legacy project for me, one that’s probably the most rooted in my ancestry,' Beyoncé told Essence in a February interview. 'It’s so far beyond business.'
'Hair is our lineage; it’s our family story. Having access to proven ingredients, and creating our own technology that is patent-pending—we now have a line that works universally.'
